Lucca is a city in Tuscany, Central Italy. I have fond memories of my summer visit last year in 2015. The food scene & dining was superb, and I look forward to sharing some of my favorite Italian recipes with you all. 

For starters, students will learn to make a salad composed of Arugula, feta, pecans, and pears with a tahini lemon dressing. 
Next up, Mushroom fettuccine with a delectable Alfredo sauce. Our second pasta is a Linguine pesto (homemade with walnuts, garlic, fresh basil, and olive oil) with cherry tomatoes. 
We will finish with a dessert of grilled peaches with whipped cream & honey.

*Dishes will be sampled with readymade baguettes. 

Food is a very important part of Italian culture, as we know. And, this ensemble is perfect for a weeknight dinner and the flavors are reminiscent of the regional cuisines of Italy.
