You'll start with the classic masoor dal, a flavorful lentil soup, and then move forward with jeera chawal, basmati rice flavored with cumin. Together these dishes provide a satisfying complete protein meal, but you're not done yet! Chef Teena will teach you how to prepare raita, a cucumber and onion yogurt dip as well as papads---lentil wafers, perfectly accompanied by homemade chutney. You'll leave the class feeling inspired and ready to cook delicious vegetarian Indian dishes at home.
